A Valve Source engine environment based upon the Ravenholm series of levels. Models and textures by Valve.
The level was created by deconstructing the essential themes and mechanics inherent in the Ravenholm series. The guidelines drived from an analysis included gameplay mechanics, visual styling, sound design, level layout and navigation, NPC placement and AI. The level was constructed in an iterative process, using prototypes to build and develop gameplay mechanics.
